On the Cover of Emmy

In anticipation of the Emmy nominations which will be announced on July 8th, the cast of Glee graces the pages of the new Emmy Magazine which is on stands now.
The UK’s Daily mail did a feature on the cover story. Here are some excerpts about Lea & Cory:
Lea Michele, who stars as the highly-ambitious and utterly annoying Rachel Berry, the star of the Glee club, said she knew that she wanted the role because of the instant connection to the character.
Michele, who made Fox executives cry when she auditioned, said: ‘The minute I read Rachel Berry, I felt such a connection to her.
‘Her drive and passion for singing and performing ? that’s my therapy in life. It helps me learn who I am. Rachel’s on that same journey.’
Corey Montieth, who plays Finn Hudson, the school’s quaterback, Glee’s leading male and Rachel’s on-off love-interest, said being in Glee is a far cry from his previous job as a secret shopper in Vancouver in his home country of Canada.
He said: ‘I’d drive around in my Honda Civic visiting 7-Elevens. I’d pretend I was looking for a certain product, quiz the clerks and, depending on their performance, reward them with cash prizes. It wasn’t a bad way to earn a paycheck.’
